PRO VITAM in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania, is a private clinic offering high quality healthcare services as well as research and development activities.
PRO VITAM research team implements research projects funded by European programs and collaborates with IBRA on viral hepatitis research. Within this collaboration, an ELISA prototype test to detect immune response to Hepatitis Delta Virus was developed. Moreover, PRO VITAM research team developed, validated and launched the first quantitative SARS-CoV-2 Antibody test in Romania, able to detect the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection or post-vaccination.
Institute of Biochemistry of the Romanian Academy (IBRA)
The Institute of Biochemistry of the Romanian Academy (IBRA) develops and promotes advanced research in biochemistry and molecular biology in Romania.
IBRA hosts a state of the art research facility center in biomedical proteomics, operated by an interdisciplinary team of young researchers with backgrounds in biochemistry, chemistry, biophysics, biology, pharmacy.
